Nothing is Certain, But The Uncertain
We often cling to the familiar, in order to feel safe.
What many are not willing to realize, is that we as 'our small selves', have no control whatsoever of what events will happen in "the future".
You may believe you are in control, but that is just wishful thinking.
I often compare my life to a boulder that is free-falling from a huge cliff.
As a teenager, I clung tightly to the boulder, pinched my eyes, hoping for the best.
Now I have fully let go of my grip, and totally surrendered to whatever comes my way.
