Why Spiritual People Have a Bad Reputation →
Spiritual people tend to have a bad reputation, due to a presence different than "normal". Some might even be perceived as being on drugs. I have personally been a student of many spiritual communities, and one thing I have noticed is that certain individuals lack connection to the physical world. In order for our minds to function properly, we need to balance the mind, body and spirit. If you lack grounding (body), you tend to be a bit more floating. Ground yourself, and you become present.
How To Add More Joy And Vitality Into Your Life →
Changing colors is an effective way to add more joy and vitality into your life. Personally I am colorblind, but being around colors increases my daily energy level. Using only dark and boring clothes makes me feel anonymous. Lively colors like blue, green and yellow makes me feel alive and vibrant. Are you buying the same colors each time you shop new clothes? Or are you open to express yourself in different ways? Breaking old patterns like this may also get you out of old ways of thinking.
A Lesson In Life Will Repeat Itself Until You Have Learnt The Lesson →
Life is the greatest teacher. A lesson will continue to repeat itself in various forms, until you have learned the lesson. First when you have learned the lesson, you are ready to move on to the next lesson. If you are stubborn and not flexible, you might end up staying in the same situation over a long period of time. Some people stay due to pleasure, others due to pain. One of the most common reasons we stay stuck, is due to other peoples opinions and expectations of us. Let these go, and you are free.
The Result of My 365-day Sobriety Challenge →
We are already in May, and the hot summer nights are slowly getting closer. Reminds me of 2014 when I challenged myself to stay sober for a whole year, and buy a motorbike as a reward if I was able to achieve it. Wouldn't you know, 365 days later, I had reached my goal, taken the driver's license, and a brand new Ducati was parked in the garage. I love pushing my limits to see what's possible. When was the last time you set a goal you thought you'd never accomplish, and went all in to reach it?
You Are 100% Responsible For What You Get Out Of Your Life →
You came into this world alone, and you will leave this world alone. In other words, you are 100% responsible for what you get out of your life. You may point fingers as much as you'd like, but at the end of the day it won't change the fact that you are the one in charge. The most important relationship you have is the one with yourself. Until you're comfortable being alone, you will never fully know if you're choosing someone out of love or loneliness. I help you better the relationship you have with yourself.
Why More Money Is Not The Solution To Your Problems →
"The grass is always greener on the other side". For many years, I translated this quote into: "If only I had X amount of dollars, life would be so much easier". The thing is, on our way to the destination, we have gradually developed and extended our goal to an even bigger goal down the road. We end up living our life like a donkey with a carrot tied in front of our nose, never fully appreciating the present moment. Instead of only going for big wins, try cherish and celebrate your daily small achievements.
The Development of 5G is An Invitation To Spiritually Awaken →
I've been asked about peoples concern about 5G. Let's use the analogy of an electric circuit. Light bulbs shine because of the resistance in the string. If you compare the world to a circuit board, and imagine the 5G signals to be the electricity. The more you fight against it, the bigger resistance you become, the more it will affect you. Where focus goes, energy flows. In regards of the shift from 3D to 5D consciousness, I personally believe people resist will stay in 3D while people neutral will transcend.
Your Past Does Not Define You →
While decluttering my apartment, I came across a couple of old photos from when I was in the army. In relation to yesterdays post, I wouldn't say the time served defined me, but rather redirected me onto a more aligned direction in life, as I was totally misaligned with my identity until then. Can you recall any past situations or relationships that has sculpted your character for the better? Sometimes our worst experiences can be a blessing in disguise, as we become conscious of what we value in life.
The Illusion of Time And How Everyone Perceive It Differently →
A subject which fascinates me is the illusion of time, and how everyone perceive it differently. This first sentence is already a memory stored in your system. It is a part of your past. We are constantly being renewed, as the present moment is shifting constantly. Yet everyone cling to their past life experiences and let their past define who they are. This is a big misconception. Your past is just a story. It's there to guide you, not define you. Once you realize this at a deep level, it has no power over you.
The Difference Between Gut Feeling And Analytical Thinking →
Are you able to differentiate between your gut feeling and your analytical thinking mind? Suppose there is an intersection, and you are not sure whether you ought to turn right or left. Which direction do you choose? Are you adventurous from time to time and act on a hunch, or do you need all the facts on the table before you progress forward? This can be transferred to important life decisions as well. Some of my best decisions have been made while contemplating and trusting my intuition.
