The Difference Between Thinking And Pondering

The Difference Between Thinking And Pondering

October 1, 2021

It is said that the average person has about 6.000 - 60.000 thoughts per day.

And of those thousands of thoughts, 95% are exactly the same thoughts as the day before.

Thinking is therefore just recycled thoughts, either influenced by the past or an imagined future.

These thoughts are just noise in the head, distractions and emotional reactions triggered through what you experience.

Pondering, however, is when uninfluenced thoughts arise from the unknown/your imagination/your creativity.
